Helloo! There’ll soon be a large bombing of photos of drawings that I’ve done once I have uploaded them from my camera to my laptop but for starts this is my main ongoing project! :) a commission from a friend from work to do a 40inch by 50inch canvas painting of an elephant, these are only 2 very rough sketches (don’t look at the baby one that was horrendously panicky rushed) that I showed him and he chose the left one to be put onto the canvas! I’m slowly making my way through the painting and have a lot of progress photos to show soon! :D

Final piece for the last project at A Level, we had a commission for a local company who wanted an abstract and contemporary piece that would create a talking point with the customers and portray the businesses values, we also had a set theme from the exam board which was cuts and openings, my final piece meaning was “an open mind always leads to new opportunities” the opening of the head and the way the butterflies were cut we’re to meet the exam criteria along with how a butterfly represents an opening from one thing into another. In relation to the company the Butteflies symbolise not only a development and change but also inspire and give hope, the open mind could be applied to all the colleges and the businesses values. The bright colours and overall look of the piece could be a talking point. In the end another well deserved piece won the commission but I was pleased with the final results :)
